Genesis of Nossa!

Nossa was created in 2012 by Damien Binois, when he was completing his studies in Brazil with a dissertation on the açai industry in the Amazon. His research led him to realize that, in addition to being delicious and full of benefits, this little berry could contribute to the region's development while helping to preserve the Amazon.

Today, Nossa has 15 employees in France, Spain and Portugal, who work every day to help as many people as possible discover açai!

Our commitment to sustainability

  • Organic açaí

Organic açaí is our pride and joy. Carefully grown in sustainable agroforestry environments, each berry embodies our commitment to environmentally-friendly cultivation, offering exceptional quality.

  • Agroforestry cultivation

An ancient tradition practised by indigenous populations for thousands of years. This method, which combines trees and agricultural crops on the same plot of land, promotes biodiversity while meeting the food needs of local populations.

  • Fair For Life certification

A significant proportion of our açaí production is certified Fair For Life by Ecocert, a fair trade label. This certification involves regular audits and additional training. It focuses on key social indicators such as worker safety and the prohibition of child labor. Our commitment is to improve the living and working conditions of local communities, reinforcing our dedication to sustainability and social equity.

Protecting the Amazon, our priority

We recognize the environmental and social challenges facing the Amazon and are determined to take action. With our agroforestry-based organic açaí chain, we strive to strike a harmonious balance between preserving the Amazon ecosystem, improving the incomes of local producers, and providing a wellness experience for our consumers.
